Summary
The T53 Turbine Engine Field Service Technician travels to customer sites—often on-location at hangars or airfields—to perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on T53 engines. The technician acts as Mint Turbines' on-site representative, certifying completed work and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
On-site service: Travel frequently to perform field service activities, including unscheduled maintenance, engine repairs, and scheduled inspections.
Troubleshooting and diagnosis: Use specialized testing equipment, technical manuals, and diagnostic skills to determine the cause of engine issues.
Inspections: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on engines, components, and modules to confirm they meet specifications.
Repair and overhaul: Perform disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of T53 engines and related components according to manufacturer and FAA regulations.
Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, including maintenance logs, reports, and FAA Form 8130 entries, documenting maintenance, repair, and inspection procedures.
Certification: Determine airworthiness and provide suitable certification for work performed, releasing the engine back to service.
Customer service: Communicate professionally with clients to explain technical findings, recommend solutions, and maintain positive relationships.
Safety and compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety standards, quality procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Required Qualifications
Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Ozark T53 engine series.
Certifications: An Airframe & Powerplant or Powerplant (A&P or P) license is often preferred, with proof of experience potentially substituting for formal certifications in some cases.
Regulatory knowledge: A strong understanding of FAA Part 145 repair station requirements and other aviation regulations.
Location: Can be based from the Oklahoma facility or work and travel from your permanent location.
Travel ability: A willingness to travel extensively, often on short notice, to customer locations across a wide region.
Problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and logistical problems in the field.
Communication skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
Physical fitness: The ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hangars, ramps, outdoors), lift heavy parts, and work in confined spaces.

Seeking Experienced Field Mechanic
Salmon River Helicopters (SRH) is hiring a full time A&P Mechanic for field maintenance to work on private and government contracts. We are accepting resumes for a long term, self-motivated individual.
Schedule: Negotiable.

Job Requirements:
Travel required.
Base is located in Idaho, but majority of field work is performed out of the state.
Responsibilities:
Typical maintenance operations, such as removal and replacement of aircraft and power plant components in accordance with Company Maintenance SOP, Manufacturer/OEM approved data
Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, and replace using approved data to maintain airworthiness
Follow all safety procedures and policies
Complete all required paperwork, maintain proficient records of maintenance
Use and operate all equipment safely
Communicate effectively with management and team members
Required Qualifications and Skills:
A&P Mechanic license
Minimum 6-months experience working with a UH1 or similar airframe
Minimum of 2-years of helicopter maintenance experience
Ability and wiliness to perform maintenance in an outdoor environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, walk, stand, kneel, crunch, crawl, and reach as this type of position requires
Work well with others
Must be able to work independently and with very little (if any) assistance. Our aircraft are not maintained by a team. The new hire will be expected to oversee and maintain the entire aircraft.
Desired but not required Qualifications and Skills:
R44 maintenance experience a plus
CDL with hazmat endorsement

AV8-ORR Helicopters seeks Experienced UH-1 Pilot
AV8-ORR Helicopters is a utility helicopter operation offering a diverse range of services including; wildland firefighting, spraying, seeding and fertilizer work, powerline construction, wildlife capture, survey, control, and 135 charter.
The current position available is for a Bell 205/UH-1H pilot to service United States Forest Services fire contracts. The job requires an extensive amount of travel with a 12/2 schedule during the active fire season.
Job Requirements:
